A Culture in Crisis, Children in Need, and Moms Who Need Help and Hope

Spread the love

I know you could be busy doing a million things, so THANK YOU for taking a minute to read this and considering the importance of what we are doing and how you can be part!

Not long ago, I received a letter from a desperate mom. “Please help! I want to raise my children right but I don’t know what right is or what good mothering looks like. My mom was a drug addict and sold me to men for drug money. I’m scared and don’t know what to do.”

A ministry leader in Cameroon, Africa wrote, “The moms here, they carry a lot inside of them if we give them the chance. It’s my dream to see the community change. We need your help. Please can you help the Cameroon chapter to start up something here.”

Our culture is in Crisis. Children are in need and moms are desperate for help and hope!

Let’s face it. Our children are growing up in a very scary world.

Globally, our world is permeated by poverty, violence, racism, exploitation, human trafficking, a twisted concept of truth, terrorism, gender confusion, social slavery, entitlement, persecution of Christians, and a severe misrepresentation of what is right and wrong.

The culture our children are exposed to has left them hopeless and unhinged.

Today, the children of this generation are in desperate need of help and hope, and what we have found is that we can make a profound difference in the lives of these children when we reach out to mentor the moms who are raising them.

That’s what The MOM Initiative is dedicated to doing…

Reaching the children of the next generation by reaching the moms who are raising them through what has been proven to be the most powerful tool available…Mentoring.

The MOM Initiative partners with ministry leaders, missionaries, and Christian women strategically and intentionally mentors moms in their communities offering life skills, job skills, biblical parenting, and most importantly hope through Jesus Christ.

God’s Word tells us  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58

In a world that gets darker by the day, there is an urgent need to be children of the light and to share the light and love of Jesus while everywhere we can, while we can.

In our first fundraising campaign ever, we are asking for your help to reach moms and the children they are raising… to help offer life-changing skills and, most importantly, hope and healing that is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

This time of year, many are thinking about giving to make a difference. Since moms mold the heart of the next generation, would you consider giving to reach the moms of this generation and impact the heart of the next generation?

You can click this link to our year end fundraising campaign and give today to help us reach our goal of $52,000!

The MOM Initiative is a 501(c)3 and your gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.

And when you give, you will also be helping young women and girls in Bangladesh. Your tax deductible donation rewards are Fair Trade products handmade by teenage girls in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The wage they earn for these products can mean the difference between hunger and food – trafficking and safety. Your gifts help create a future for these girls and supports the Light of Hope Learning Center where they not only learn to sew, but also receive an education, vocational training, nutrition, hygiene, and best of all—faith and freedom in Jesus Christ.
