Help for the New School Year

Spread the love

It’s that time of the year again when the kiddos head back to school.

It’s a time of heightened emotions for moms and for children, but there are some things you can do to make this school the best ever for the who family.

  1. Pray every day with your children and for your children (Subscribe and get our new FREE resource – 30 Prayer & Verse Cards)
  2. Add some encouraging notes in their lunches every day
  3. Pray for your children’s teachers (If you’re a homeschool mom, pray for yourself.) šŸ˜‰
  4. Be part of your children’s school experience
  5. Volunteer for school functions
  6. Get the kiddos to bed in time so they can get their rest
  7. Be sure to help them do their homework
  8. Make their assignments your business
  9. Don’t allow your children to become overcommitted with extra-curricular activities
  10. Discover your children’s learning styles and help them learn in the way they learn best

Being present and actively involved in your children’s education fosters an interest for education in their hearts. And the start of each year gives renewed focus on their educational and personal growth.

School isn’t only about their education. It’s about their character and their personal growth.

It’s what moms do – help their kids grow up well and become all God created them to be.

Whether your children are in private school, public school, a charter school, virtual school, or you homeschool, The MOM Initiative has some resourceful help for you!
