Want to Know Your Kids Better?

Spread the love

Do you know your children well? Would you like to?

It’s really pretty interesting that we live in a time when communication is easier than ever yet we communicate less than ever. Social media has made us less social and our children are being affected by our tech-driven lives.

A few weeks ago, I encouraged us all to take the UNPLUGGED SUNDAYS Family Challenge. (I hope you sweet moms joined in on that one!) But if you’re anything like me, my unending ‘to-do’ list begins to haunt my heart and those kind of commitments get put on the back burner of my life.

If that has happened, I’d like to send this little reminder to unplug. I didn’t say it would be easy, but I want you to know it will be worth it.

Today, I want to encourage you to sit down to dinner with your family and take some time to talk with one another. Real conversation. Not just a text message or an email. But real life, face-to-face, heart-to-heart conversation.

I’m not really great at coming up with a dinner plan for you, but I’d like to help you kick-start your conversations with 40 Table Talk Conversation Starters for the Family.
